Maize Maze

NOW OPEN  – a brand new attraction for families visiting JR’s this summer!

Entry to the Maize Maze is accessible via Stomp/Stomp Outdoor through our Ranch-Style entrance and then the fun begins as you get lost and find your way again through the giant puzzle of pathways back to the entrance.  Stay as long as you like – your admission allows you to come and go throughout the day so you can also enjoy all the other great activities at JR’s – Stomp indoor soft play, Stomp Outdoor play, Strike tenpin bowling (additional charges apply), our classic American diner (additional charges apply) and of course there’s toilet facilities available inside.

The Maize Maze is open daily in fair weather from 9am till 7pm (last admission 5.30pm). Stomp Out will also remain open till 7pm for the duration of the Maze season.

And there’s even more fun to be had ….. on our very own BEACH as adults kick back and relax in a deckchair while the kids will love to grab a bucket and spade and get digging and building sandcastles – a great photo opportunity for the family album!

When tummies start to rumble, head to the JR’s Shack.  Grab a ticket and order some of those Stomp and Dine favourites that everybody loves – Burgers and Dogs (vegetarian options available), sandwiches, sausage rolls, popcorn, pombears, ice creams and hot and cold drinks.  Visitors can purchase food from the counter in Stomp and bring out to enjoy in our picnic area in the Maize Maze.

The Maize Maze is wheelchair-accessible and Assistance Dogs are welcome.

How do we get tickets for the Maize Maze?
Just turn up on the day and head to JR’s Reception in the main JR’s building where you can pay for your entry to the Maze and get your hand-stamp, then you’re ready to go …. Valid all day – so stay as long as you like!

Is the Maize Maze wheelchair accessible?
Yes, wheelchairs can access the Maize Maze, but please be aware that the Maize is sited in a field, so the ground may be uneven and can get muddy after bad weather.

Do we need wellies?
Please remember that the Maize is outside in a field, so can get muddy after rainfall so please choose appropriate footwear – no bare feet!

Can we bring a dog?
Sorry only Guide Dogs are allowed in the Maize Maze.

What else is there?
As you work your way around the hidden pathways through the Maize – look out for all 8 of the “secret stamps”. Collect them all on your card and present it at JR’s Reception to pick up a small prize for successfully collecting all the stamps.

Discover our very own artificial beach – we believe it’s the only Maze in Norfolk with its own beach attached! Of course, there’s delicious food and drink and ice creams available at the JR’s Shack and the Maze Café. Once you’ve completed the Maze, why not head inside JR’s for STOMP indoor play, STOMP OUT outdoor adventure play, STRIKE tenpin bowling and DINE serving all-American classics that everybody loves – children’s Little League menu too!

How long will it take us to get round the Maze?
It takes approximately 2 hours to complete the Maze (it covers 10 acres!), but we’re sure you’ll want to allow plenty of extra time to find the “secret stamps”, enjoy the Beach and some delicious food, drink and ice cream too. And there’s even more to do inside JR’s

What happens in bad weather?
If it should rain, entry to the Maize Maze will be closed at the Manager’s discretion until the sun comes out again! If you’re already in the Maze it’s your choice whether to stay and wait for the sunshine or maybe head back into JR’s for indoor play, the Stomp Café or grab a table at DINE our All-American diner. Please be aware that the Maze can get muddy during wet weather.

What else is there to do at JR’s?
In addition to the amazing Maize Maze with its own beach, you’ll also find STOMP air-conditioned indoor play and also STOMP OUT with its exciting outdoor play equipment – 4-way springer; musical instrument circle; mini-beast springers; multi-coloured tube slide and wonkey wooden play tower (open in fine weather only) as well as STRIKE tenpin bowling lanes and also DINE, serving everybody’s favourite all-American Diner classics. Of course, you’ll find free parking, toilets (including disabled), wifi and plenty of choices for food and drink on site too.
